Ichung-nong
Antique Korean stacked chest, with butterfly hinges and closures ( the butterfly symbolizes happiness) brass hinges and plates, double doors.  The motif is an inlay of burl-wood with pear-wood framing.  Elm front panels, paulownia sides and pear wood frame.  With four small drawers at the top and two hinged doors in the center.

The lower unit sits on a stand that raises it off of the floor.    it matches the upper unit with butterfly hinges, and plates, double doors. The Chosen period 19th century.
